Ellie Lovett
Bali, IndonesiaGrowing up in Bali, Indonesia, Ellie witnessed firsthand unplanned and unmanaged tourism and economic growth. She quickly realized the importance of living within the boundaries of balance and has chosen to focus her time and efforts on ensuring natural areas are utilized and managed with a vision for the future. Ellie’s interests are reflected in her formal education by pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Ecotourism and Environmental Management at Murdoch University in Australia and furthering on this through an exchange program at San Diego State University’s Center for Surf Research. Ellie is currently consulting for Conservation International on a project aimed to protect the ecosystem values of Bali’s surf breaks.
