Whether you’re new to the sport or want to advance your skills at one of the many local point breaks, including El Zonte in front of the hotel, El Salvador’s first professional surf academy is the right spot for you. With certified coaches in the PS methodology, lifeguard rescue, and the International Surfing Association, you’re in good hands.

Once you’re surfed out, enjoy a dip in their infinity pool or sample something Salvadorian from the Covana restaurantand juice bar. Private yoga classes and massages are just the ticket to get you back in the water the next day.

If the surf is not firing at one of the many point breaks in the region (rare), then there are local tour guides who can take you to the nearest volcano or waterfall for an incredible experience away from the coast.
