Together with paying for their staff’s English classes and French classes to the front desk staff, Olas Verdes supports local education initiatives primarily through their Pack for a Purpose partnership, which encourages guests to bring school supplies and clothes in their luggage to donate to the local Las Delicias elementary school in Garza. The hotel also hosts several site visits for sustainable tourism studies and other relevant majors in at universities in Costa Rica and abroad year-after-year.
